Women continue to be called to religious life and respond to that call with courage. Yet, the face of women religious today is changing. This panel conversation and open dialogue will explore the thoughts and ideas of younger women religious in the US, exploring the values, realities, and hopes of women who are called to apostolic religious orders today. The materials presented here have emerged from two years of conversation with a group of young women religious (under age fifty) from different congregations with different charisms. The panelists will explore how younger women religious understand their role in the world today, and how they work together to promote the Kingdom of God. Following a short presentation of their ideas, the conversation will be expanded to include all who attend, with a collaborative vision that we all have important insights to share and that no one of us bears the richness of the story without the voices of others.
