Director: Sr. Meg Gemar

How do we broaden and deepen our relationship with God “Holy Mystery”? How do we broaden and deepen our understanding of the universe story, our creation story of today? How do we see the connection and interrelation between God and the universe? This is an opportunity to connect stories of God, universe, earth, church, religion, place, people, and our personal story of hopes and dreams, struggles and accomplishments, fears and calmness, joys and sorrows. What are the threads that connect all these stories? You are invited to come and ponder all these stories as part of a bigger picture – our cosmic heritage. Wear comfortable clothing as there will be time to reflect in/with nature.

Sr. Meg taught high school biological sciences for 44 years. Besides teaching degrees in the sciences, Sr. also has an M.A. in Earth Literacy from St. Mary-of the-Woods, IN. This degree integrated environmental sciences with art, economics, ethics, history, justice, and spirituality. Sr. Meg has led retreats and given several presentations on the universe story, creation, Laudato Si and Canticle of Creatures
