SUMMARY:The Yoga of St. Francis with Craig Bullock (Online; Partner Event)
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Shalom Spirituality Center \n\n\n\nDiscover a fresh doorway into Franciscan spirituality through the ancient practice of Kriya Yoga. In this virtual evening retreat\, Craig Bullock\, Spiritual Director of The Assisi Institute\, will explore how the life\, prayer\, and luminous presence of St. Francis resonate deeply with the contemplative heart of yoga. \n\n\n\nMany know yoga as a physical practice\, but its deepest roots are spiritual. Craig will guide participants in understanding how Kriya Yoga’s teachings — which hold special reverence for Jesus and St. Francis — can harmonize with Christian faith and enrich our own journey of transformation. Through stories\, reflection\, and gentle spiritual practice\, we’ll explore how Francis can help us hear Christ’s voice\, embody God’s goodness\, and become instruments of light in a world longing for peace. \n\n\n\nCraig brings decades of experience in mystical Christianity\, psychology\, and interspiritual dialogue\, offering a grounded and accessible path for seekers from all backgrounds. \n\n\n\nCost: $5 per personRegister by noon on Friday\, June 19 \n\n\n\nClick here to learn more and register

SUMMARY:The Padua Program (In-Person; Partner Event)
DESCRIPTION:Forming leaders in the Franciscan mission \n\n\n\nHosted by the Franciscan Institute at St. Bonaventure University\, the Padua Program is a year-long formation experience for leaders who serve in Franciscan institutions and ministries. Through an immersive on‑campus workshop in July and ten monthly online seminars\, participants explore the spirituality of Saints Francis and Clare and learn practical approaches to mission‑based leadership in today’s organizations. \n\n\n\nNow entering its eighth cohort\, Padua has equipped leaders across education\, health care\, social services\, and retreat ministry with the tools to preserve\, strengthen\, and animate the Franciscan legacy in their own contexts. Guided by nationally recognized scholars and practitioners\, participants engage in study\, reflection\, and skill‑building within a supportive learning community. \n\n\n\nCohort VIII will gather July 8–11\, 2026\, in the newly renovated Francis Hall on the scenic St. Bonaventure campus. Registration is $3\,000 and includes housing and meals. \n\n\n\nRegistration for the 2026 Padua Program is now open. \n\n\n\nClick Here to Register
