SUMMARY:Franciscan Connection Circles (Monthly; Online)
DESCRIPTION:Join the next Franciscan Connection Circle — held via Zoom \n\n\n\n👉 Click here to register \n\n\n\nThis monthly virtual gathering is grounded in prayer\, reflection\, and community. We’ll begin with a short time of meditation and contemplative prayer\, followed by a reading to guide our shared reflection and group discussion. These circles offer a welcoming\, sacred space to connect with fellow Franciscans across the country. \n\n\n\nThis Month’s Topic \n\n\n\nOur focus this month is on finding strength\, stillness\, and hope in the midst of chaos. Many of us are carrying the weight of unrest in our communities and in the wider world. Our facilitator\, Lavina Taylor\, will guide us through practice and prayers that invite us to pause\, breathe\, and reconnect with the quiet beneath the noise. \n\n\n\nWe’ll draw from several short readings and resources\, including: \n\n\n\n\nA Blessing in the Chaos\n\n\n\nA breath prayer for stillness and silence\n\n\n\nA prayer from The Possibility of Hope\n\n\n\nA short dance video set to the Prayer for Guidance\n\n\n\n\nQuestions to ponder: \n\n\n\n\nWhere do you notice an “opening into the quiet that lies beneath the chaos”?\n\n\n\nHow does seeking stillness strengthen you\, and what makes it challenging?\n\n\n\nIn the Prayer for Guidance\, we ask to “carry out Your holy and true command.” Does the prayer from The Possibility of Hope help make that feel possible?\n\n\n\n\nAll are welcome! \n\n\n\n👉 Click here to register

DESCRIPTION:Join the Franciscan School of Theology for an evening with historian Bill Cook\, PhD\, exploring Francis of Assisi: Our Master Teacher of the Virtue of Empathy. If you register\, you will receive the recording afterward\, and all lectures are later posted to their YouTube channel. \n\n\n\nEmail development@fst.edu to register

SUMMARY:Lectio Lent Series (Online; Fran Fed Event)
DESCRIPTION:During this Lenten season\, we invite you to enter more deeply into the Gospel through the ancient practice of Lectio Divina\, a prayerful reading of Scripture that opens the heart to God’s presence.
