Franciscan Federation Announces Historic $1 Million Gift to Establish Endowment
[April 20, 2026] — The Franciscan Federation joyfully announces a historic and transformative gift of $1 million to establish the organization’s first-ever endowment fund, ensuring the vitality and legacy of the Franciscan movement for generations to come.
This extraordinary seven-figure gift was made by a member congregation of the Franciscan Federation who has chosen to remain anonymous. Their generous and faith-filled act marks a milestone in the Federation’s history and reflects a deep commitment to the ongoing renewal and witness of Franciscan life in today’s world.
“This extraordinary gift is the foundation of our dream to build an endowment of $7.5 million that will secure the Federation’s mission for the future,” said Julianne Wallace, Executive Director of the Franciscan Federation. “It’s an invitation for all who share the Franciscan spirit to join us in this hope-filled endeavor.”
The new Franciscan Federation Endowment Fund will support the organization’s mission of promoting Franciscan charism and spirituality, fostering collaboration among communities and individuals who share this rich spiritual tradition.
