Join the Franciscan School of Theology for an evening with historian Bill Cook, PhD, exploring Francis of Assisi: Our Master Teacher of the Virtue of Empathy. In a time when empathy feels increasingly scarce, Dr. Cook invites us to consider how Francis’s life offers a compelling model for identifying with those whose experiences differ from our own. Through this lens, we rediscover Francis not only as a lover of creation and a man of simplicity, but as a guide for cultivating deeper compassion in our world today.
