Join the Saint Francis Institute for Animals on Tuesday, September 29 at 8pm Eastern for a special webinar to begin the week of Saint Francis’s Feast Day. Dr. Marc Bekoff, a world‑renowned animal behavior expert, will share insights from his decades of research on animal emotions and his newest book Love in Their Hearts.
He’ll explore what we know about animal sentience — joy, curiosity, playfulness, grief, anger, love, and more — and will be joined by Rev. Christopher Steck, SJ, who will offer a Catholic theological perspective. The conversation will be co‑hosted by Tom Linney and Kristin Dunn.
