Creating something with your hands and heart is a wonderful journey toward God. It expresses what lies deep within that words can’t often express. Creating intends to open one’s heart to listening to God and allowing God to speak through the creative piece. If we take something that we love to do and invite God into the midst of the activity, this experience can be transformed and used to develop an ever-closer relationship with God. This invitation becomes a sacred moment of connectedness with our Creator. It becomes another form of prayer!
