Environmental Policy Heading Into the Midterms (In-Person; Partner Event)

Join the Franciscans for Earth (FFE) Eco-Series for an evening with Melissa Vatterott, Policy & Strategy Director for the Missouri Coalition for the Environment. As part of our ongoing commitment to the Franciscan value of care for creation, this session will explore key environmental issues shaping Missouri as we approach the midterms.
Melissa will offer an accessible overview of environmental policy currently moving through the Missouri Legislature and how these decisions impact public health, environmental justice, and the wellbeing of our common home. With more than a decade of experience in environmental policy, she brings a grounded, practical perspective shaped by her work with federal, state, and local officials.
Her presentation, “Missouri’s Environmental Policy Heading Into the Midterms,” will be followed by a discussion and Q&A.
This free, in-person event will be held at the Tau Center (335 S. Kirkwood Rd., Kirkwood, MO 63122).
