Join the Franciscan Sisters and Franciscans for Earth for a free online screening and conversation around Choosing Earth; Choosing Life, a documentary exploring the speed and scale of our unfolding planetary crisis, and the profound opportunity it offers for awakening, compassion, and collective transformation. Through a whole-systems lens, the film weaves together stories from around the world that reveal both the heartbreak of climate discruption, inequity, and species loss, and the resilience and creativity emerging in response.
Produced and directed by Coleen LeDrew Elgin, the film features voices such as Duane Elgin, Victoria Santos, Jack Kornfield, Joanna Macy, Nate Hagens, Beena Sharma, Lynne Twist, Rama Mani, and others who reflect on what it means to meet this moment with courage and an open heart.
