FST Zoom Lecture Series – Sacred and Social: The Person as the Foundation of Catholic Social Teaching (Online; Partner Event)
March 5 @ 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm EST
Free
Hosted by the Franciscan School of Theology
Presented by Kenneth Himes, OFM, PhD
Modern Catholic Social Teaching begins with a rich understanding of the human person, shaped by biblical, patristic, and medieval insights into creation, the Incarnation, the Trinity, and the life of the Church. In this lecture, Fr. Kenneth Himes explores how this theological vision grounds the Church’s social tradition and continues to guide our moral and communal life today.
The lecture will be recorded, and all registrants will receive the recording. It will also be posted on FST’s YouTube channel after the event.
