Missouri’s Environmental Policy Landscape & How You Can Take Action to Care for Our Common Home

Melissa Vatterott, Policy Director of the Missouri Coalition For The Environment, will speak during the free Franciscans for Earth Eco-Series event for March. The evening of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 6:30 Central, Melissa will present “Missouri’s Environmental Policy Landscape & How You Can Take Action To Care For Our Common Home” online via Zoom or in-person at Tau Center.

Melissa will share updates on this session of the Missouri Legislature as it relates to public health and the environment, answer questions, and provide ways to take action on bills that are moving. She has been involved with the Missouri Coalition for the Environment (MCE) for 10 years. She uses her law degree, a bachelor’s in environmental science, and a minor in agricultural economics to lead the MCE’s policy department. She works with federal, state, and local elected officials and agencies to address environmental justice and health equity issues impacting Missouri.
