A unique retreat for religious and the laity. Franciscan spirituality is best characterized by its emphasis on relationality. How we relate to one another reveals our deepest values. In our polarized world, how we express our values has often led to broken or frayed relationships. The Franciscan tradition offers evocative illustrations of both lay and vowed practitioners who forge a spiritual path and deepen their faith through peacemaking. Through cultivating a capacity for presence, deep listening, prayer, and skillful speech, this retreat uses the Franciscan tradition to develop and practice personal skills grounded in faith that will serve us in rebuilding relationships that matter.
