Encountering the Sacred Through the Spirituality of Place
Join us for a reflective online gathering with Mary Beth Wisniewski from Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs to explore how the landscapes of Francis and Clare continue to shape the hearts of pilgrims today.
To walk in the footsteps of St. Francis and St. Clare is to enter a way of seeing marked by attentiveness, humility, and openness to God’s presence. During our time together, we will reflect on how the places they lived, prayed, and formed community can become invitations into our own encounter with the sacred.
We will consider pilgrimage as an intentional engagement with sacred time and sacred space—an experience that awakens deeper connection with God, creation, and one another. Participants will also be invited to pause, breathe, and reflect on the contours of their own spiritual journey.
