As hunger continues to rise across the United States, the federal government has proposed significant cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the nation’s most effective anti-hunger program. These changes appear in the administration’s recently released 2027 budget, which includes major reductions to domestic programs.
This webinar will offer an overview of the current anti-hunger landscape, a faith-rooted reflection on the urgency of meeting human needs, and practical ways to take action. Speakers will include experts from the Salvation Army and MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger.
