As part of the Jubilee Year of St. Francis, our Intergenerational Eco-Justice and Spirituality Network (IEJSN), in partnership with Catholic Climate Covenant, Franciscan Action Network, and the Interfaith Public Health Network, is hosting a four-part webinar series exploring how Franciscan eco-spirituality can meet this moment with clarity, courage, and hope.
Webinar #2 features Sr. Ilia Delio, OSF, PhD, a leading theologian in science and religion. Her talk, “Brother Sister, Robot: Being Franciscan in an Age of AI,” reflects on the growing presence of artificial intelligence in daily life. Drawing on Franciscan values of poverty, minority, and community, Sr. Ilia will explore whether AI threatens human dignity or can help foster human and planetary flourishing.
