This Jubilee‑year series explores how Franciscan eco‑spirituality can help us meet today’s ecological challenges with clarity and hope.
For our third webinar in the series, we’re welcoming Judith Enck — environmental policy expert, founder of Beyond Plastics, and co-author of The Problem with Plastic. Judith has spent decades working in state and federal government, including serving as Regional Administrator of the EPA under President Obama, and she brings a clear, grounded perspective on the plastics crisis and what communities can do about it.
She’ll share about the impact of plastics on Mother Earth and on vulnerable communities, and outline concrete ways to support efforts that reduce toxic plastic pollution at the local and state levels. We’ll also be joined by guests from Siena University’s Laudato Si’ Center, who will offer prayer and brief reflections. Time for Q&A will be included as well.
