An Afternoon with Murray Bodo Sharing Poems and Insights Inspired by Francis and Clare via Zoom

Join us for a selective reading of poems inspired by the lives of Francis and Clare from poet/author Murray Bodo, OFM. His reading and ongoing commentary of these poems from different times in his life span the years from his 20s to his 80s. There will be a Question & Answer session included in the program that will provide an opportunity to interact with the speaker. Facilitator: Murray Bodo, OFM, is a Franciscan priest and an award-winning author of more than 25 books, including the best-selling Francis: The Journey and the Dream, Song of the Sparrow: New Poems and Meditations, and God’s Love Song: The Vision of Francis and Clare. He writes and lectures on Franciscan spirituality and his poems, stories, and articles have appeared in magazines and literary journals. As an internationally known poet, Fr. Bodo has participated in poetry readings in Europe and the United States. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, spends part of the year in a hermitage in Florida writing, and has for many years led Franciscan pilgrimages. He is currently working on another volume of poetry.
