Engaging the Mystery – A Retreat
May 16 @ 6:00 pm – May 22 @ 12:00 pm CDT
It was written that Francis of Assisi could be heard in prayer asking, “Who are you, Lord, and who am I?” Clare of Assisi would use the word “ineffable” (inexpressible, indefinable) when contemplating God’s love and goodness. In both cases, their Franciscan journeys are marked by Mystery. We search to “know,” even while we cannot understand. Our Franciscan hearts’ desire to engage with mystery, the doorway to intimacy with God. During the retreat, we will engage the wonders we encounter in our human walk.
