April FFE Eco-Film “River Blue” via Zoom

View & discuss the film “River Blue” Tuesday, April 9 via Zoom

Join us on Tuesday, April 9 at 6:30 in the evening, as we view and discuss this film the fashion industry’s impact on our rivers and the people who live nearby. Register today http://www.fsolph.org/events/ for this free opportunity!

As described at https://riverbluethemovie.eco/the-film/ Mark Angelo, a river conservationist, traveled the world to investigate the fashion industry and its polluting practices. The film is narrated by Jason Priestley.

According to the RiverBlue website: Through harsh chemical manufacturing processes and the irresponsible disposal of toxic chemical waste, one of our favorite iconic products has destroyed rivers and impacted the lives of people who count on these waterways for their survival. River Blue brings awareness to the destruction of some of the world’s most vital rivers through the manufacturing of our clothing, but will also act as a demand for significant change in the textile industry from the top fashion brands that can make a difference.
