The Executive Leaders of Franciscan Organizations (ELFO) is a growing network convened by the Franciscan Federation to foster connection, mutual support, and collaboration among those who steward the mission and values of Franciscan institutions. Through dialogue and shared initiatives, ELFO supports leaders in responding to emerging needs and building a more unified Franciscan voice in today’s world.
First convened in 2019 to explore cross-organizational collaboration, ELFO is now entering a new chapter—renewed with energy, purpose, and a shared commitment to shaping the future of Franciscan leadership together.

2026 Inaugural ELFO Summit
We are thrilled to invite executive leaders from Franciscan organizations across the country to our first-ever ELFO Summit—a landmark gathering designed to foster connection, inspire collaboration, and shape a bold vision for the future.
